This month we will be talking about “Integration Testing Web Apps using Selenium“. We will be looking at how to use Selenium to automating testing, build a test suite, and simplify testing with multiple browsers. We will be using the code from our first meeting.
To follow along on your own laptop you will need, FireFox, Selenium IDE, our code, FireBug (not needed but really helps), and any other browsers you want to test in.
See you on the 20th.
RAnDOM, the Rich ApplicatioN Developers of Melbourne, is a group established to bring a conduit to the Brevard county area for developers and enthusiasts interested in the area of rich internet applications. The goal of the group is cover topics related to new and emerging technologies in the feild of web application development such as AJAX, Flex, Silverlight, and anything else that enters into the mix over time. In an attempt to take a different approach to user group meetings, the focus of each meeting is intended to be on cooperative programming. Through the use of sample code, our members will hopefully be guided to success through their implementations. As the group grows, we may grow and begin giving presentations, but who knows.
For information about our previous meetings, check out our Meetings page. If you’d like to contact the group, please email us @ contact at itsrandom dot info.
